A cookie is a text-only string of information that is stored on your computer for a time via your web browser so that the Website can remember who you are. Cookies cannot be used by themselves to identify you personally, although they may be used to identify your IP address. A cookie will typically contain the name of the domain from which the cookie has come, the ‘lifetime’ of the cookie, and a value, usually a randomly generated unique number.
B&C uses two types of cookies on its Website:
- Session cookies, which are temporary cookies that remain in the cookies file of your browser until you leave the Website.
- Third-party cookies, are cookies set with domains different from beckandcaul.co.nz. These are used to connect services. For example, Google remembers you visiting the website so it appears when you search Beck and Caul.
- Google Adwords to advertise on the Google Ad network. This connects with Google Analytics to provide us with statistics on advertising performance and it allows us to remarket ads to website users. Google Ad settings

Any personal information or data collected as part of our work with a client is kept secure and separate from other clients and B&C’s own records. Client’s own privacy policies will detail how they manage personal information or data collected.
